  25. The ONLY Amiga<>Newton connectivty thing I've seen anywher at all
  26. is an Amiga program that turns the Newton into a drawing tablet
  27. for the Amiga.

  29. I've seen NO other Amiga<>Newton solutions anywhere at all, so
  30. I'm afraid that unless/until someone writes one, we're stuck
  31. with emulation to get the job done.

  33. I run the Amiga Mac "Shapeshifter" emulator with perfect results.
  34. In that, I have the Lunatech "PDA Package Downloader" program and
  35. have used it many times to d/l Newton pkgs to my MP100. Works
  36. perfectly, and is, in fact, one of the main reasons I got
  37. Shapeshifter going in the first place.  Now I'm experiencing some
  38. nice fringe benefits, like running NetScape 2.0, etc. 
  39. (I'm doing all of this on a 10 Meg Amiga 1200 with 40mhz 030/882).

  41. I know quite a few Amiga folks, including some developers, who
  42. also own and use Newtons but so far, none of them have released
  43. any other Amiga<>Newton software. I'm not giving up, but not
  44. holding my breath either.

  46. Apple doesn't seem to know or care that the Amiga exists, so 
  47. I'd never expect a solution of any kind out of them.
